A great day to fly a kite!

This week in preschool we studied "Things that Fly". Today, Ms. McGarr gave everyone their own kite! I got a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse kite, I love it! It was a really yucky, windy day, so after my rest rest, Mommy and I went outside to fly the kite. It went way up high in the sky! Even the birds liked it. I was so afraid they were going to eat it, I kept yelling at them to go away.

Our 2nd Strawberry...Mommy ate the 1st

Mommy and I have some strawberry plants growing in our garden. They were planted last year, but this is the first year they have produced anything. This is the second one we picked...Mommy ate the first one...I was a little upset about that!

Elefun

Yesterday at WalMart, I got a new game called Elefun. I love it! The elephant blows butterflies out of its trunk and I try to catch them with a butterfly net. So far, my record is 6 butterflies. It's a lot harder than it looks! Daddy played with me some today, I was very happy about that.

Row, row, row your boat

I really like to sit in the laundry basket and pretend it's a boat. Mommy gives me spoons so I can pretend they are oars. I like to take my blue baby with me too. I asked Mommy to please take a picture of me rowing.

Florida State Fair

Today Mommy, Daddy and I went to the Florida State Fair. We had lots of fun. We went early so we had to wait a while to go on the rides, I was very eager to ride the ferris wheel and gondolala (my Mom calls it a sky ride, but I like gondolala better!) While we were waiting, we saw fed some sheep and goats, but I really didn't like that so Mommy had to use up all the feed.



When we finally got to ride the rides, Daddy took me down a gigantic slide! It was wonderful! Then we went on the Ferris wheel. I kept waiting for the gondolala to open up because that's what I wanted to ride the most and finally it did after a while. It was great fun, but it only went one way so Mommy didn't get to take a picture.



After all that Mommy and I took a ride on a paddle boat. We rode around and saw some birds and a neat fountain. It started to rain on us, though so we had to stop sooner than I wanted to. You can see the raindrops on Mommy's shirt in the picture.


As we were leaving, we saw more animals, including 2 giraffes and a zebra! I got to feed the giraffes and zebra some carrots. Mommy liked that part of the day the best because I made the funniest faces!

Pumpkin Carving 2007

We had so much fun carving our pumpkin tonight! I helped Mommy tape the template to the pumpkin. While she was cutting the top off, Daddy and I decorated a Kira-sized pumpkin with Mr. Potato Head parts. We think he looks really cute!

I really wanted to help Mommy scoop out the insides, but it was really yucky! I refused to stick my hand in there. Finally, towards the end, Mommy talked me into putting my hand in, but I wouldn't touch anything!

When we were all done we put them outside so everyone else can see them. I will want to check on them everyday!

Clouds

This week, I started noticing shapes in the clouds. I also notice how the wind makes them blow. On Monday as we were walking into the library, I saw a bunny in the clouds! That was the very first time I noticed shapes. Tuesday, I saw a sea turtle and on Wed I saw a sleigh.
